In terms of releases the tail end of February so far is very jam packed. Not only did we release Chris Hanna’s amazing Novel EP but we now release Ickis Mirolo’s long long sat upon EP Pachydermy.
The EP is mixture of all things in dark ambient wave music, house, dubstep and techno.
The EP creates a dark and dreary basement club vibe that really represents a half and half of our label and Ickis’s own imprint “Rand Records”.

Check Out the EP here:

We have been sitting on this beaut for god knows how long!
Chris Hanna is a young producer from Belfast, Northern Ireland who thrives on making tunes. We get dozens of previews from him and the thing is, they are going to all sorts of labels so we are quite privileged to be releasing with such a young and amazing producer.

The EP is entitled “Novel” and contains 3 tracks “Novel”, “Gramophonen” and “3753 Cruithne”. Novel is dedicated to proper industrial techno were as Gramophonen is on the more house and dub side and finally Cruithne is a perfect ambient ender to the short but amazing journey this EP takes you on.

FS006 OUT NOW!! Cameron Duffy – What I Do EP (Free Download)

First Second goes juke on this one, as Cameron Duffy brings a bit of Chicago to Dublin on his “What I Do” EP. On the title track Cameron flips a few words from Diddy – “What I do is, I try to make you dance” – and weaves around them a gentle melody that contrasts expertly with the frenetic percussion at the track’s heart. “Color” takes another spoken sample and pitches a stuttering jazz/blues guitar sample against exciting beats. Finally, “I’m A Piece Of Shít” slows things down as it puts that infamous Biggie line over another chopped-up soul sample.
