Check Out#3 – Objekt

This week we check out Berlin’s very own OBJEKT.

Little is given away about a young German man by the name of TJ Hertz and I’d say at this very moment that is how he likes it to stay. TJ runs a label under the name Objekt and also DJ’s by that name too. He is his gaining a huge fan base as days go by and is playing the biggest clubs all over the world at the moment. This is phenomenal considering his label only has two releases at the moment (both by Objekt) yet over a 1000 people follow him on soundcloud.

And for good reason, Objekt has produced a new sound or maybe even evolved two sounds to co-exist perfectly. Either way it is the sound of the new building underground scene in Berlin and we want more of it!

Boya’s music is a breath of fresh air blowing through a train tunnel. There is so much to his tracks, dark german techno mixed with 2 step and ambient chill with a dash of house in there somewhere. We really suggest you can an eye out on this lad or perhaps an ear even, as not even we are aware of his Identity as of yet.
